Prior to FRP, rubber linings were the only good way to provide protection against corrosive and abrasive conditions. Rubber linings are still used extensively providing substantial savings over stainless steel and other metals. Bittner has available to you a great variety of rubber linings - depending on your needs. A few such requirements might be for : abrasions, caustics, salts or for FDA approved white rubber. Bittner's years of experience can assure you of the right selection once your operating conditions are made clear.

Rubber lining is our oldest product line. We started this work in 1955 using Goodyear materials and through the years have changed to Blair Rubber Co. Blair produces the high quality rubber and cement systems that we demand with on time deliveries. Blair Rubber Co. recently purchased Goodyear Lining Division, and Martin Rubber Co. This makes Blair Rubber Co. the largest producer of sheet rubber lining materials in North America.

Rubber Lining is available in over 46 types that have been developed over many years to meet specific requirements. Rubber linings are typically classified according to chemical and abrasion resistance. They are available in natural rubber, chlorobutyle, neoprene and nitrile.
